Altstadtfest - Es ist das größte Event des Jahres und hat eine lange Tradition. Das Altstadtfest in Schöningen, das immer am letzten Wochenende im August stattfindet - schön einfach zu merken.
Das Altstadtfest wird in diesem Jahr bereits zum 48. Mal in der Schöninger Innenstadt gefeiert - diesmal passend zum 1275-jährigen Stadtjubiläum. Veranstalter und Organisator ist die Schöninger Werbegemeinschaft.
Von Freitag bis Sonntag gibt es Programm auf zwei Bühnen, eine steht zentral auf dem Markt , eine weitere ums Eck auf dem historischen Brauhof. Es gibt eine Gastromeile und für Familien viele Stände von Schaustellern und Karussells.
Sonntags findet morgens immer ein Gottesdienst statt und eine Spielemeile für die Kinder gibt’s danach ebenfalls. Es ist also ein Fest für die ganze Familie und das gesamte Braunschweiger Land. Wir freuen uns, Sie in Schöningen zu begrüßen.

From Friday to Sunday, there is a program on two stages, one centrally located in the market square, and another just around the corner in the historic brewery courtyard. There is a food mile and many stands of fairground attractions and carousels for families.
