Perspektive Innenstadt

Die hier vorgestellten Projekte werden im Rahmen des Landesförderprogramms „Perspektive Innenstadt“ gefördert. Das Programm wurde aufgesetzt, um die Städte bei der Bewältigung der Pandemiefolgen in den Innenstädten zu unterstützen. Ziel ist es, die Innenstädte schnell zu stärken und resilienter aufzustellen. Die Stadt Schöningen erhält rund 161.000 Euro für Projekte – die Förderquote liegt bei 90 Prozent.

Folgende Projekte sind aus der EU-Aufbauhilfe REACT EU (Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe) im Rahmen des Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) gefördert und als Teil der Reaktion der Union auf die COVID-19-Pandemie finanziert:

Perspective inner city

The projects presented here are funded under the state program “Perspective City Center”, designed to help cities manage the impacts of the pandemic on their city centers. The program’s goal is to quickly strengthen city centers and make them more resilient.

The City of Schöningen will receive approximately €161,000 for its projects, with a funding rate of 90 percent.

These projects are also supported by the EU’s REACT EU (Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe) program under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), as part of the EU’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic:

Improving the Quality of Stay in Schöningen’s City Center

Projects to make the city center more attractive and enjoyable for residents and visitors:

Purchase of 12 umbrellas for the market to provide shade at outdoor events
Construction of a public hotspot for internet access
Purchase of three seating islands for the city center

Further Development of the “Old Prison” Property

The historic municipal property “Old Prison” is being upgraded and renovated to create a coworking space, supporting modern work environments and fostering entrepreneurship.
